AgDiscovery is a summer outreach program to help teenagers explore carers in plant and animal science, wildlife management, agribusiness, and much more! Students will have the opportunity to live on a college campus, learn more about agriculture from professors, scientists, and administrative professionals who work for the U.S. Government in a variety of fields. This 2-4 week summer outreach program for 2017 targets middle and high school students. Twenty-two college campuses across the United States are offering this camp at no-cost (will have to make travel arrangements) to the student. Two of the colleges are fairly close - Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO and University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff, AR. One parent reported her child attended one in North Carolina and loved the camp. This is a great opportunity to learn about the many career paths open to them in the agricultural sciences.
