NASA Marshall Space Flight Center is hosting master teacher training with follow-up for 2 high school teachers from each of Missouri’s nine in-service regions. Ms. Amanda Watts, one of our HS Science teachers, has been selected to participate in NASA’s professional development event for Missouri educators to be held Aug 10th – 12th. This is a pretty incredible honor as there were only 18 Missouri HS Science teachers chosen to attend. Ms. Watts will be trained by NASA education specialists in adding engineering design to the Missouri STEM curriculum/course of study. Due to this she will be absent the first few days of school but will be very excited to return Monday and share what she learns with the district.
