The lovely fall weather was an excellent setting for the September 26, 2022, home game against the Doniphan Dons. Seth Trantham threw four innings, only giving up one earned run while getting seven strikeouts. Trantham went 3-3 at the plate with two singles, a double, and a walk. The Comets continue to improve after a rough 2022 fall start.
Marcus Cockrum was 2-4 with a double and four RBIs. Dillon Weyland was 1-3 with an RBI single. Kason kemper was 1-2 with an RBI single. Do not miss the next home game, September 29, 2022, when the Comets take on Bakersfield at 4:30 PM.
