We are always pleased to join our neighbors in Couch for a great display of sportsmanship and camaraderie at the Couch Annual Tournament. The boy's team was a little nervous coming out of the gate and found themselves down eight after the first half. They found their composure and confidence going into the second half and pulled out a win 41-36 over a tough Summersville team.
The top-seeded Lady Comets held a fine Bunker team to 23 points with a tremendous defensive effort. Miley Haney led all scorers with 21 points, and Brayleigh Campbell chipped in 11 points to lead Alton to the victory. Next is the championship game at 6:30 Thursday night against a tough Van Buren team. Come out and support the Comets!
