It looks as though the gravel roads will not be up to par for Friday morning travel. For this reason, the Alton R-IV school district will not be session on Friday, January 27, 2023. Bus drivers, students, teachers, instructional staff, the nurse, counselors, and cafeteria workers will not report. Administrators, Central Office, custodial, and maintenance personnel should report.

Tomorrow is Picture Day!!!
Anyone wanting a picture retake or students who are new to the District will be taken at 8:00 a.m.
Fall and Winter Team and Individual Sports pictures will follow.
Attached is a digital PREORDER form that you can use today only. DON"T WORRY...YOU WON"T MISS OUT - for your convenience, you will receive an order card in approximately 2 weeks so that you can order after you see the picture, as well.

Big Smiles will be here on February 23rd and 24th. Forms were sent home with every student in November. They will do a full dental visit, including xrays and a cleaning with each student that signs up. Please DO NOT sign your student up if they already see a dentist yearly. Elementary progress reports for grades 3-5 are being sent home today. If you have an email on file, your child's grades will be sent to you electronically. All students will also be bringing home a paper copy of their grades.
Please sign the top of your child's report card and return it to the school by Friday, December 2nd. This is a procedure we are putting in to place to ensure all parents have had a chance to review grades.
