Vaccination Requirements for 2018-2019
8th grade students will need a Tdap and MCV vaccination
12th grade students will need 2 MCV vaccinations unless the first one was given after the age of 16, in which case they will only need 1 shot
You can get these vaccinations anytime, please do not wait until August to get these required vaccinations. Please be aware that if you do not provide proof of your child's vaccinations or exemptions by the first day of school in August they will not be able to start classes. If you have any questions please call the school.

Please check the Alton Elementary May Calendar to find dates and times for important upcoming events (Awards Day, Field Day). A paper copy will be sent home with each student today!


Comet Day will be held at Alton Elementary on Wednesday, May 9th. In order to qualify for Comet Day, students are required to have maintained 90% attendance throughout the school year. If your child has missed 15 or more UNEXCUSED days of school, his or her Comet Day privileges may be in jeopardy. It is very important to make sure that you have submitted all Doctor's Notes to the main office by May 7th. If you have questions or concerns, please call the Elementary Office.
