September's Teacher Spotlight shines on Mrs. Marilyn Cockrum. Mrs. Cockrum teaches 4th grade at Alton Elementary. Mrs. Cockrum stands out as someone who spends, many, many hours at school perfecting all of her lessons for her students. Mrs. Cockrum teaches Science, and she leaves her students talking nonstop about the neat experiments that take place in her classroom. Mrs. Cockrum also has the biggest heart. She goes out of her way to find out what is going on when one of her students seems to be having a bad day. In addition, Mrs. Cockrum is always looking out for her coworkers. She constantly goes the extra mile to brighten other people's days. We love you Mrs. Cockrum! Thanks for all you do for your students and friends at Alton Elementary!
